Nish's Story
For those of you who don’t know me that well yet, let me tell
you a little about myself. I was born in deepest, darkest Africa,
in Zambia to be precise, but have lived with my truly inspiring
parents in Rochester NY for most of my wonder years. I attended
Union College for my undergraduate studies and the Albany School
of Business for my MBA. Then I lived in Manhattan for a few years
before moving out to San Francisco to start Bind Networks with Greg
Monahan and Jason Epstein (both groomsmen!). We sold the company
at the end of 2002 and I’ve been doing freelance marketing,
event planning and copy editing work for a number of arts and non-profit
organizations including the Asian
Art Museum and Yerba
Buena Center for the Arts ever since. I’ve also enjoyed
being a bon vivant of sorts, but that is another story, now isn’t
it?
I met Kristen almost four years ago, but there isn’t a day
that goes by where I do not discover something new about her that
makes me smile. And I know that when I’m ninety years old,
made mostly of bionic parts, that I’ll still wake up every
morning and smile, because I’ll still be discovering how amazing
she is. Kristen is my everything, and, along with my Mom and her
mother, makes up the triad of the most beautiful women I have ever
met (sorry Pam Anderson!). |
